Condonation of delay -- Sufficient cause -- Paramount consideration
While considering an application for condonation of delay, it is the sufficiency of the cause shown that is of paramount importance -- Neither the length of the delay nor the number of days of delay is relevant in itself -- Where the cause shown is sufficient, the delay ought to be condoned irrespective of its length.
